Diana M. Geremia, Managing Director

Diana GeremiaDiana brings 25+ years of management experience in a variety of industries including insurance and auto rental. In that time, she has served in a variety of senior management roles in virtually every operational and executive management area including risk management, claims management, subject matter expert for the bankruptcy trustee, forensic accounting, collections, project/program management and mergers and acquisitions. She has helped companies successfully move through bankruptcy, downsizing and a variety of corporate restructuring. Companies under her direction have increased revenue by as much as 25% while others have significantly reduced their operating costs.

Richard Mazzucco

Richard Mazzucco has more than 18 years of experience in various leadership roles in both public and private industry.  Through these years of experience, Richard has gained an intimate knowledge of accounting services, corporate turnaround/restructuring, and performance management in a broad range of industries.

Richard´s broad industry experience includes Auto Parts Manufacturing, Auto Rental and Leasing, Distribution, Equipment Rental and Leasing, Financial Services, Healthcare, Heavy Transportation Manufacturing, and Restaurants and Hospitality.

Richard´s experience as a consultant and practitioner spans the value chain.  He has led some of the most successful client engagements, including serving as interim management of a leading transportation manufacturer where he led the finance team through a consolidation of a business segment.  Richard also used his extensive Purchase Accounting experience for several significant clients that involved multiple corporate entities.  One of these significant clients was a leading US auto finance company.  Richard is also extremely knowledgeable with regard to GAAP and SEC promulgations.  His knowledge was instrumental in coordinating the filing of a F1 registration statement that facilitated a successful $2billion public offering.

Richard was the Director of Accounting for an international car rental company; and the Regional Controller for a medical diagnostic imaging company.  Richard began his Finance career in public accounting.

Frank Cassanelli

Frank offers a unique combination of strategic, financial, and operating skills. He specializes in providing crisis interim management and has extensive experience in the development and execution of strategic, operational, organizational, and financial improvement initiatives, both for corporate clients and the portfolio companies of private equity funds.

He began his professional career in public accounting and moved on to various accounting and financial management positions. Frank has extensive experience with accounting issues, process improvement, budgeting and forecasting, due diligence, and mega-case bankruptcy administration. He has successfully taken on key roles in turnaround and performance improvement situations involving mid-size to multi-billion dollar companies.

With over 18 years of financial and operational management experience, his credentials consist of a blend of corporate and consulting experience in various industries including transportation, manufacturing, healthcare, and multi-location retail and service organizations. Frank has served both private and public companies as Assistant Controller, Divisional Controller, Director of Reorganization Accounting, and Director of Accounting.

His experience in accounting, operations, liquidity management including cash flow modeling, as well as cost reduction initiatives provides a complement of services to assist companies with financial and operational turnarounds. He also has had a tremendous amount of experience with large, complex restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and post merger integration.

Frank assumed interim management roles, serving as Chief Financial Officer of a national bus manufacturer, leading the finance department and guiding the restructuring from a financial and operational perspective. He led the team in a consolidation of the plant and systems creating a cost savings as well as an efficient and effective transition. Prior to that, Frank was instrumental in making sure that one of the leading aircraft leasing and part sales company’s F1 filing was timely and accurately filed facilitating the company’s successful public offering. Additionally, he served as Director of Reorganization Accounting for an international car rental company where he was an integral part of the turnaround team. He then went on with the acquiree and became the Director of General Accounting, which provided him with extensive experience in a large transaction intensive environment where he managed four departments and a team of approximately 50 members.

Currently, Frank is working with one of the top three US Automakers’ finance arm on facilitating the new ownership transition plans, and assisting with planning and execution of post-transaction projects within the Accounting and Finance departments.
